USE THE ‘CAREER ENGINE’ APP TO ACCELERATE YOUR CAREER.

Hello, my name is Jashandeep Singh and I am a full-time Graphic Designer and Web/App developer that works from his home in Punjab, India. I have always been fond of art, design and programming. You can see some of my work on my personal website at https://www.jdwebservices.com/

When I look around me I see a tremendous amount of potential in our youth that never gets a chance to blossom. Basic opportunities in the digital space are denied to the vast majority of the children because they never get exposure to the digital world from a young age. I wish to change that, one child at a time.

At first I tried reaching out and helping some children in my city of Muktsar. I ran a few fundraisers and was able to sponsor 45 children and help them get a taste of basic computer education. We hope to have put 75 children through this program by December 31, 2021.

But it was not enough, especially with classes being disrupted because of the pandemic. I learned how to make apps and decided to make this app so that many more children can benefit from what I have to offer. That is how Career Engine came into being. As I am just a single developer doing this on the side, I have broken the development of Career Engine into phases.

My partner in this project has been Harmit Kamboe who has assisted in the non-programming side of things.
